We first consulted Mr. Gary Weber at Basildon Chiropractic Clinic last April, having seen an advertisement in a local newspaper.
At that time our then eight year old son, Dominic, was suffering from daily headaches. At school, though bright, he seemed unable to concentrate and rarely completed his full day’s work. We had worked with his teachers to find a solution but nothing seemed to have much effect.
Dominic was born with a twisted neck muscle (torticollis) and has been seeing an Orthopaedic Consultant at regular intervals. It was thought that his scoliosis, which by then was quite noticeable, could have been contributing to the headaches. The Orthopaedic Consultant was happy to refer us to Mr. Weber.
A little over six months later, Dominic’s spine is noticeably straighter. For the first time in his four and half years at school his teacher has reported that he is working hard, concentration well and getting his work done consistently. He has not had any headaches since mid July and is a much happier disposition generally. His Orthopaedic Consultant has confirmed the improvement in his spine.
Dominic’s treatments have reduced from twice weekly, in April, to once a month with some simple stretching exercises to carry out at home; we are delighted with the changes in him.
When I think of the treatment I have had over the years, all to no avail, and you were my ‘last resort’ in future you will be my ‘first stop.’
